So very impressed with Brent Massie and staff. I could write a book and still not cover the kindness and compassion of Brent Massie and his staff. My family has used a particular funeral home for years past but after our encounter with Mr. Massie this past week we will be using him to lay our loved one's to rest.

My mom had preselected Smith Funeral Home & Chapel for her funeral. Smith Funeral Home & Chapel had handled my dad's funeral 13 years ago. Our family has used this funeral home for years but this was the first time I had met Brent Massie. Brent was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was kind, patient, soothing, accommodating, and helpful. Think of any complimentary adjective and it would apply to Brent. His is very well suited for this field of service He makes it look easy and I am sure it is not. Everything in regards to my mother's arrangements were handled beautifully and flawlessly. The video was professionally and beautifully done, the flowers were nicely presented, mom looked peaceful and natural. We didn't have to worry about and thing and wouldn't change a thing. I just wanted to put this out there! I am so GRATEFUL for Smiths Funeral home. It will be a year next month that I lost my dad and he had no kind of insurance at all. Smiths worked with me by letting me make payments until I was able to pay it off today. Almost a whole year and they never once harassed me about my payment. My dad had a beautiful service. Smiths treated us as if we were family and not a paycheck. I had lost my grandmother 5 months before my father and we had her funeral there as well. It was the same that time to and when I found out that my dad had passed I knew that's where I wanted to go. No one wants to think about these kinda things. I know I didn't want to but sometimes life throws things at you that you have no control over. It's hard but if I had to do it again I would go back to Smiths. I just want those who may ever have to deal with this to know there's a place like Smiths that will be there for you and I can bet you, you will feel the way I did.
