Ryan David Howald, 28, of Hannibal, MO passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019.
A gathering of family and friends celebrating Ryan’s life will be held 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2019, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. The family will have a graveside service in Barkley Cemetery in New London, MO at a later date.
Ryan was born on January 25, 1991, in Hannibal, MO the son of Charles Richard Ford and Lora Howald.
Survivors include his mother, Lora Howald of Hannibal, MO; father, Charles Richard Ford of Hannibal, MO; maternal grandmother, Gloria Howald of Hannibal; daughter, Maya; girlfriend, Angel Smith of Hannibal, MO; brothers, Kyle Howald and wife Sonya of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Michael Ford of Denver, CO; sisters, Charla Ford of St. Louis, MO, Marquita Strong and husband Al of Hannibal, MO, and Sonya Anderson of St. Louis, MO; nephews, Kaden Howald and Drew Ford; niece, Taelor Ford and God-daughter, Nevaeh Rudd; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ryan was preceded in death by a brother, Marquis Robinson; paternal grandparents, Monzella and Onetta Ford; maternal grandfather, Richard Howald; and uncle, Dennis Howald.
Ryan graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 2009. Upon graduation, Ryan worked in the landscape industry.
Ryan enjoyed playing sports in high school, especially football. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends. Ryan was known for his big heart and helping others and the smile he loved to share with his family and friends. Ryan’s biggest love was his family. He cherished the time spent with them and always at their departure told them he loved them.
