Roberta "Bobbe" Alice Dismukes, 91, of Hannibal, Mo. passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at her home.
Bobbe was born on January 21, 1925, in Hannibal, Mo, the daughter of Samuel and Helen (Petrie) Watson.
Survivors include three sons, Gary Dismukes of Selah, Wash., James Dismukes (Nancy) of Munroe Falls, Ohio, and Jerry Dismukes (Leslie) of Tulsa, Ok.; one dear cousin Jean Vincent of Hannibal, Mo.; four grandchildren, Blaine, Nick, Christa and Kyle; three great grandchildren, Raevyn, Haylee and Iwan; her beloved dog Joey.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Dismukes was preceded in death by three sons, Scott, Larry, and Ted Dismukes.
Bobbe graduated from University of Kansas in 1947 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Bobbe had worked in the OT field for over fifty years in Utah and Oklahoma. After retirement she moved to Missouri to make her home in Hannibal.
Bobbe was an avid gardener and spent many hours attending to her flower beds. She also enjoyed reading, classic movies and spending time in her pool in the summer. Bobbe was a member of the Hannibal Arts Council.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City, Ok.
The family is being served by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
