Jacklyn Faye Charlton, age 75, of Hannibal, MO passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Palmyra, MO.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Inurnment will be in the Flint Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Jacklyn was born on July 14, 1946, in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of George Earl and Beatrice (Land) Ellis.
She was united in marriage to Franklin Dempsey Charlton. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1967.
Survivors include three sons, Franklin Charlton, Billy Charlton and Clifford Charlton (Megan); two daughters, Angela Walls (Donnie) and Debbie Taylor (Ronnie); brother, Ronnie Ellis (Margaret); sister, Gracie Vorwaldt. Other survivors include numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters.
Jacklyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking. Her favorite t.v. shows include westerns and Perry Mason. She spent many hours reading western novels, Ellery Queen and gangster novels.
Jacklyn was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church.
