Hillery Bell Sullivan, 84, of Monroe City, MO passed away at 8:19 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Hillery was born on November 26, 1934, in Ralls County, MO the son of Milton and Emazean (Jarman) Sullivan.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Sullivan; sisters, Wilma Helen Kastner, and Jennie Faye Sullivan; niece, Sarah Beth Hagan all of Monroe City, MO.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sullivan was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Eugene Sullivan.
Hillery graduated from Monroe City High School and went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Army from 1957-1959.
Mr. Sullivan had worked at Mark Twain Boat Manufacturing in New London, MO and later Delta Boats in Saverton, MO, before retiring from Kuhlman Diecasting Company in Monroe City, MO.
In his retirement years, Hillery enjoyed buying, fixing up, and selling golf carts. Away from work, Hillery enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Sullivan was a previous member of the Hannibal Boat Club.
Hillery was a Baptist by faith.
