Heather Hilborn

Heather Erin Joye Hilborn, age 46, of Truxton, MO passed away at 10:35 am Friday, March 11, 2022, at Sarah's Place in Hannibal, MO.

The family will host a Celebration of Life service at a later date. 

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Heather was born on November 17, 1975, in Troy, Missouri,  the daughter of William and Jaunita (Brown) Hilborn.

Survivors include her daughter, Cherakee Raine (Cody) of Kirksville, MO; son, Collins James Hilborn-Barber of Truxton, MO; step-daughter, Kayla Lynn Smith (Jermaine) of St. Charles, MO; brother, Willie Hilborn of Moscow Mills, MO; two sisters, Heidi Presley of Moscow Mills, MO and Kathleen Rios (Chico) of Troy, MO.  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Rhett Raine and Malykai Leacox, and third grandchild, Harmony Smith is expected soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Heather worked as a homemaker, raising her family with joy.  Some of her favorite times spent with her family were camping, scrapbooking and woodworking.  She was loved by her family and so many others.  Heather cherished time spent with her family.  She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
