Gregory Baldwin Obituary

Gregory Clayton Baldwin, 21, of Hannibal, Mo. passed away at 10:49 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 7, 2015, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Pastor David Scott will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park.

Visitation in honor of Greg will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Greg was born May 6, 1994, in Hannibal, Mo. the son of A. Clayton Baldwin III and April (Magness) Baldwin.

He is survived by his father, A. Clay Baldwin, III; mother, April Baldwin; sister, Tori Baldwin all of Hannibal, Mo; paternal grandmother, Nancy Baldwin of Hannibal, Mo; maternal grandparents, Stan and Nancy Magness of Quincy, Ill; aunts and uncles, Laurie and Chuck Harris of Hannibal, Mo. and Heather and Matt Hillhouse of Galesburg, Ill; cousins, Madison Harris, Jackson Hillhouse and Olivia Hillhouse; and great aunt, Mary Wayne Pierce of Connecticut.

Greg was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arlo Clayton Baldwin, Jr.

Greg graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 2012. He attended Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He later transferred to MACC in Hannibal and was scheduled to graduate this December.

Greg enjoyed golfing, fishing, and his animals. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan. Greg could always bring a smile to your face with his sense of humor. He was known for his gentle personality. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Greg will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a member of Arch United Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Scott Gollaher, Brandon Reed, Bubba Williams, Stubby Nesbitt, Josh McConnell and Lance Bremmer.

Honorary pallbearers will be MS&T Sigma Nu fraternity brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Missouri Humane Society, in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
