Ethlyn Lavonne (Lynch) Burbank

Ethlyn Lavonne Burbank, 84, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 1:40 PM Friday, August 23, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Grand View Burial Park.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal.

Lavonne was born on July 22, 1935, in Galesburg, IL the daughter of Everett and Helen (Kerns) Lynch.

She was united in marriage to Warren Carr Burbank on October 18, 1963, in Hannibal, MO.  He preceded her in death on January 1, 2009.

Survivors include three sons, Louis Henry Johnson, Jr., Warren Everett Johnson (Brenda), and Ronald Lynn Johnson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Burbank was preceded in death by a son, Terry Wayne Johnson and brother, Warren Lynch.

Lavonne as many knew her by, worked in nursing at St. Elizabeth Hospital for several years before her retirement.

Lavonne had a love for her animals and would take in stray dogs and cats when needed.  Her biggest love was her family and she cherished the time spent with them.

Mrs. Burbank was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in West Ely.
