She loved with her whole heart not only her family, but the patients she served over the several decades she spent nursing as an LPN. Although divorced she and her good friend and ex-husband Joseph Jackson remained close and took good care of each other until her passing.
She was also a widow which only her closest friends knew, she took great care of her husband Joseph Bartos until his life ended at the early age of 62 from Alzheimer's.
While taking care of 2 girls and her husband she obtained her LPN license to become a nurse so she could take care of others.
