Dori lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. She was known for her smile and infectious personality. Although divorced she and her good friend and ex-husband Joseph Jackson remained close and took good care of each other until her passing.

She was also a widow which only her closest friends knew, she took great care of her husband Joseph Bartos until his life ended at the early age of 62 from Alzheimer's.
