Daniel Royce Minor

Daniel Royce Minor, age 38, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 6:02 am Monday, October 5, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, October 8, 2020, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Visitation celebrating Daniel's life will be held at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday October 8, 2020 at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. 

Cremation arrangements will follow the service.

Daniel was born on July 2, 1982, in Hannibal, MO the son of Robin (Hudnall) Resa.

He was united in marriage to Ariel Riley on August 8, 2017 in Hannibal. She survives him.

Other survivors include his mother Robin of Hannibal, MO, daughter, Deliah Ann Minor of Hannibal, MO; step-daughter, Margaret Jaisyn Riley of Hannibal, MO,  father-in-law, Doug Riley; mother-in-law, Kama Riley of Kirksville, MO, brother, Kristopher Minor of Hannibal, MO; brother-in-law, Jared Riley (Cori) of Quincy, IL; sister, Melissa Wideman of Hannibal, MO; step-sister, Amanda Resa of Hannibal, MO and nephew, Austin Wideman.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Riley Avant Hibner Minor, stepfather, Steve Resa, grandparents and his cousin, Betty Gregory.

Daniel graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 2002. 
Daniel worked as a security guard for several companies in Quincy for about 15 years. Daniel was an avid pool player and played in a local pool league for many years. In his spare time, Daniel enjoyed watching documentaries and car restoration shows. Daniels favorite past time was time spent with family and friends; especially with his children.
