Charles "Joey" Joseph Bieber

Charles "Joey" Joseph Bieber, age 33, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:04 pm Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.  Rev. Tim Goodman will officiate.  Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation celebrating Joey's life will be held 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Charles was born on October 21, 1989, in West Palm Beach, FL the son of Nicholas and Penny (Freday) Bieber.

Survivors include his mother, Penny Powell of Hannibal, MO; sisters, Misty Freday of Hannibal, MO and Nicole Bieber (Bub Watkins) of Hannibal, MO; Vencil the son that Joey thought of as his own helped raise of Hannibal, MO; grandparents, Lem and Nancy Freday of Springfield, MO; stepbrother, Alex Bieber of New York; nieces and nephews, Skylynn Ardrey, Aliyah Watkins, John Watkins III, Katelyn Ardrey, Shaylynn Ardrey, Brooklyn Ardrey, Mahayleigh Watkins and Layla Watkins; great nieces and nephews, Lailynn Harn, Kayonna Ardrey and Drew Ardrey; special friend, Jamie Strong and children; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Joey was preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Shirley Golian; and special friend, Carrie Watkins.

Joey graduated from Hannibal High School in 2008 and went on to work as a self employed Tree Trimmer.

Joey was a simple man that enjoyed the great outdoors.  If Joey wasn't working you could find him fishing, his favorite place to fish was Ted Shanks.  Mushroom hunting was another hobby Joey enjoyed doing in the Spring.  BBQ's, watching the Green Bay Packers and wrestling were all things that brought great pleasure to Joey.  

Joey's biggest love was his family and friends.  He cherished every moment spent with his family and friends and with these memories his legacy will continue to live on in each and every one of their hearts.

Pallbearers will be Bub Watkins, John Allen Watkins, III, Marvin Watkins, Sr., Marvin Watkins, Jr., Jamie Strong and John Allen Watkins, Sr.

Memorial contributions may be made to Smith Funeral Home & Chapel to assist the family with funeral expenses.
