Wilma Dorene Foreman

Wilma Dorene Foreman, 100, of Hannibal, MO, died at 2:20 AM Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Willow Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, September 9, 2013, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Pastor Mark Albee will officiate. There will be no visitation held. The Smith Funeral Home and Chapel in Hannibal, MO, is in charge of arrangements. Wilma was born May 2, 1913 in Springfield, MO, the daughter of William David and Mary Bell (Daily) Snow. She married Erwin L. Foreman on November 24, 1941, in Fresno, CA. He preceded her in death on February 19, 1962. Survivors include one son, Bart Foreman and wife, Kathy of Hannibal, MO; five grandchildren, Greg Foreman, Jeff Foreman, Kris McCurley, Alissa Rolemer, and Donald Foreman; four great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Foreman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one sister. Wilma was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She worked in management in retail before retirement and was a member of the Eastern Star and American Business Women's Association. Wilma enjoyed drawing, painting and spending time with family and friends. Memorials can be made to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, in care of Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
