Wayne Lee Smith

Wayne Lee Smith, 79, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 7:36 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Levering Regional Healthcare Center in Hannibal. Funeral service will be held 2:00p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Fr. Mike Quinn will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park. Mr. Smith was born on May 11, 1938, in Hannibal, MO the son of William and Natalie (Cashman) Smith. Survivors include one brother, William Smith (Linda) of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister, Dianna Melton (Perry) of Hannibal, MO; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parent's Mr. Smith was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Smith, Dale Smith, and Charles Smith, and one sister, Peggy Lumberg. Wayne was retired from Manchester Tank in Quincy, IL. Wayne enjoyed the simple things in life. He was an avid Cardinals fan and enjoyed watching other sporting events. Mr. Smith was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the James E. Cary Cancer Center in care of the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
