Tracy Jo Bost

Tracy Jo Bost, 56, of Hannibal, MO passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2019, at Oakwood Christian Church.  Pastor Tom Day will officiate.

Visitation will be held 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Oakwood Christian Church.

The family is being served by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal.

Tracy was born on January 12, 1962, in Santa Monica, CA the daughter of Raymond and Marylyn (DeLaPorte) Young.

She was united in marriage to Michael Leroy Bost, Jr. in 1999 in Amador County, CA.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Leroy Bost, Jr. of the home; daughter, Shannan Ramirez and husband Matt of Yuba City, CA; grandchildren, Jacob and Amelia; sisters, Julie Young of Hannibal, MO, Laura Liebes (Stephen) of CA and Leslie Young of CA; father-in-law, Michael Leroy Bost, Sr., and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Tracy was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Scott Apodac, brother, Michael Dale Young and mother-in-law, Dorothy White Bost.

Tracy attended Thousand Oaks High School in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Tracy had worked at Liberty Tax in Hannibal and most recently at Swiss Colony Data Center in customer service.

Tracy was a loving kind hearted wife, mother, daughter and sister.  She had a compassion for helping others.

Mrs. Bost enjoyed attending all the festivals in and around Hannibal.  She enjoyed collecting antiques from the Victorian Era and reading books of the Civil War.  Tracy also enjoyed baking home baked goods.

Tracy enjoyed her trips with her two dogs “Wile” and “Gadget” to the dog park along with Huckleberry Park and while living in California, walks along the beach were her favorite.

Most of all Tracy cherished the time spent with her family.

Tracy was a member of Oakwood Christian Church.
