Roberta Lynn Carr, age 69, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Luther Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Pastor Anthony Schindler will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Frankford, MO.

Visitation celebrating Lynn’s life will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Roberta was born on March 20, 1956, in Quincy, IL, the daughter of John Lockett and Ethel (Andrews) Lockett. She was raised by her mother Ethel and stepfather William Schepker following Ethel’s remarriage.

She was united in marriage to David Carr on May 10, 1986, at Antioch Baptist Church in rural Ralls County.

Survivors include her husband, David Carr of the home; her son, James Carr (Than Som) of St. Louis, MO; her daughter, Angela Cusumano of St. Louis, MO; her step-daughters, Tamara Carr, Tanya (Sterling) Lee, and Danae Stienmann Foster; her step-son, Sean (Angela) Carr; and grandchildren, Richard and Caitlynn Carr, Jamey, Michael, and Jaden Dyke, Gabriella (Colby) Stack, Courtney Cassonni, Kyle and Cody Carr, Arlow “Bubby” Charleton III, Dustin Burroughs, and Mackenzie Burroughs; and nephews through her son James’ marriage, Somrith and Dara Lem.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Schepker; her sister, Rinnie Isringhaus; and her grandson, Hunter Ching.

Lynn was the owner of the beloved Twainland Cheesecake Company and Cafe, where she brought warmth and community together under one roof. Her commitment to others extended far beyond her restaurant walls, she regularly hosted free spaghetti dinners and Thanksgiving meals, opening her doors to anyone in need.

Lynn will be remembered for her generous heart, adventurous spirit, and her deep love for family, especially the joy she found in spending time with her and all of David’s grandchildren. She was a devoted supporter of causes close to her heart, including the Salvation Army and local adult literacy programs, always believing in the power of a helping hand and the importance of lifting others up.
