Richard Lee Trower

Richard Lee Trower, age 69, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 3:54 pm Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.  Jim Allen will officiate.

Richard was born on February 7, 1954, in Perry, MO.

He was united in marriage to Janet Melson on September 11, 2007, in Hannibal, MO. She survives him.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by one son, one daughter, several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Richard enjoyed simple things in life such as fishing and camping.  One could often find him "tinkering" and trying to fix things. He was always on the go.  Richard was known to be a very likable person.  He loved visiting with people, but being with his friends and family meant the most to him.

Richard was self-employed contractor.

Mr. Trower was a Christian by faith.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Jennings, Brent Holst, Todd Erwin and Brad Yohn.
