Mildred Hayes, 95, of Hannibal, died Wed., Feb. 8, 2012, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Leon Perry of rural Hannibal. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Mon., Feb. 13, 2012, at the Palmyra First Baptist Church, Revs. Terry Buster and Tim Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Palmyra. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sun., Feb. 12, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal. Mrs. Hayes was born Feb. 3, 1917, in Ralls County to Harley and Marguerite Nichols Albright. She married Carl Basil Hayes, Jan. 20, 1934, in New London and he preceded her in death Mar. 17, 1982. Survivors include 4 children, Delbert (Vivian) Hayes of Hannibal, Donna (Dean) Doyle of Hannibal, Carol Scott of Kansas City, Mo. and Judy (Leon) Perry of Hannibal; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Lela Albright, a son, Richard Leon Hayes, daughter-in-law, Bessie Lee Hayes, great-grandson, Phillip Ethan Perry, sisters Janella Dryden, Rachael Allen and brothers, Jack Albright and Richard Albright.
