Michael Neil Bramblett, age 70, of Conway, AR formerly of Hannibal, MO passed away at 7:56 am Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel. Private family inurnment will be at a later date in Barkley Cemetery.
Visitation celebrating Michael's life will be held 5:00 pm until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
The family asks that you please wear your favorite sports team attire to honor Mike's love of sports.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal, MO.
Mike was born on August 3, 1954, in Quincy, IL the son of Wilburn and Dorothy (Jansen) Bramblett.
He was united in marriage to Victoria "Vicky" Powell on June 29, 2005, in Hannibal, MO.
Survivors include wife, Vicky Bramblett of the home, daughter, Sara Mickels (TJ) of Hannibal, MO; two sons, Jeremy Bramblett of Hannibal, MO and Jahcole Bramblett of Conway, AR; three step-sons, Justin Smith of Conway, AR, Joe Brooks of Conway, AR and Josh Brooks of AR; four brothers, James Bramblett (Denise), Melvin Bramblett (Linda), Bryan Bramblett, Kevin Bramblett (Cheryl), and sister-in-law, Gina Bramblett all of Hannibal, MO.
Also surviving are Mike's precious grandchildren, Dylan Bramblett, Abbigail Heathman, Cameron Bramblett, Colten Bramblett, Kelsey Ledbetter, Gracie Brooks, Josiah Brooks and Jace Brooks, two great-grandchildren, Patrick Conley and Xander Bramblett, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dennis Bramblett.
Mike graduated from Hannibal High School and then entered the work force soon after completing his education. He dedicated many years of his life as a truck driver before retiring.
Mike was a true sports enthusiast. He had an unwavering loyalty to the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou football and the St. Louis Rams and even after the move to Los Angeles. His love for sports was a big part of his life, and he enjoyed discussing games and cheering for his favorite teams with friends and family.
Fishing was another passion of Mike's. He found peace and joy in spending time by the water, casting his line and waiting for the perfect catch. These moments were often shared with loved ones, creating cherished memories. Music was a source of happiness for Mike. He loved listening to his favorite tunes and couldn't resist singing along, bring joy to those around him with his enthusiasm and love for life. His mornings were always brightened by a cup of coffee, a simple pleasure he looked forward to each day.
Family and friends were central to Mike's life. He valued the time spent with them, whether it was a casual get-together or a special occasion.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike's sons and grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses, in care of Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
