Maudine B. (Betsy) Horton

Maudine B. (Betsy) Horton, 89, of Hannibal, passed away, Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Beth Haven Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel, with Pastor David Scott officiating. Burial will be in Grand View Burial Park. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Betsy was born January 14, 1924. She married Rodger L. Horton, Sr., July 2, 1948 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He preceded her in death, November 21, 1985. Survivors include, one son, Rodger L. (Adrienne) Horton, Jr. of Munster, Ind.; two grandchildren, Steven (Denise) Horton of Amherst, Wis., Kale (Adele) Horton of Lees Summit, Mo. and four great-grandchildren, Kayla (Airk) Kudronowicz, Austin Horton, Jake Horton and Nathan Horton.
