Mary Margaret Turnbull

Mary M. Turnbull, 90, of Hannibal, died at 4:50 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Rev. Jeff Voepel will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of services Thursday at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. Mrs. Turnbull was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Ralls County, Mo., to Edward Hubbard and Ruby Frances Truitt Brown. She married Richard J. Turnbull, June 8, 1941, in Hannibal and he preceded her in death. Survivors include, two nieces, Sharon (Bob) Williams of New London, Jan (Doug) Perryman of Overland Park, Kans.; four nephews, Don (Kathy) Northcutt of Gladstone, Mo., Jerry Northcutt of Charlottesville,Va., Harold (Mary Lee) Treaster of Leawood, Kans. and Bob (Deanna) Treaster of Holt, Mo.; and several great nieces and great nephews. Mrs. Turnbull was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Zelma Northcutt, Hilda Hall and one brother, Francis H. Brown. Mary worked at Commerce Bank in Hannibal for several years.
