Mary Elizabeth Capp

Mary Elizabeth Capp, 93, of Hannibal, Mo. passed away at 7:30 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2014, at Willow Care Center in Hannibal. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel in Hannibal. Rev. Bill Dexheimer will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service Monday at the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel. Mary was born December 4, 1920 in Hannibal, Mo. the daughter of Perry and Nellie (Daniels) Farrell. She was married to Denzal Capp. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1994. Survivors include two daughters, Aleta Ryan of Jacksonville, IL and Cheri Gaw of Gravois Mills, Mo.; two grandchildren, Michelle Peterson (Doug) of Kansas City, Mo. and Chad Gaw of Gravois Mills, Mo.; two brothers, Joe Farrell (Betty) and Frank Farrell (Betty) of Hannibal, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Capp was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Chrisco, one brother, Clifford Farrell and two son-in-laws, Ray Ryan and Danny Gaw. Mrs. Capp was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Darren Farrell, Mike Farrell, Jimmy Gaw, William Barber, Chad Gaw, Bruce Chrisco, Doug Peterson and Terry Farrell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Farrell and Frank Farrell Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association, in care of Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
