Mary Ethel Abright

Mary E. Abright, age 55, of Hannibal, MO passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal. Rev. Brenda Culp will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Mary was born on January 25, 1965, in Hannibal, MO,  the daughter of Robert H. and Vera D.(Smith) Abright. Sr.

Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Abright of Quincy, IL, and Latisha White (Allen) of Columbia, MO; son, Timmy Abright of Hannibal, MO; three brothers, William Abright, Ronnie Abright, John Abright all of Hannibal, MO; two sisters, Roberta Elliott of Hannibal, MO and Dora Abright of Quincy, IL; grandchildren; Skilar Ward, Briar Abright, Wesley Burchett, Vera Benedict and Charlee Benedict and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Robert Abright, Jr. and Wesley Abright, and grandson, Brayden Tyler Abright.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed watching movies and listening to classic country music like Conway Twitty and George Jones.

Mary was a Christian by faith.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Elliott, Joey Lafond, Brandon Lamont, Chris Benedict, Channelle Lafond and Kevin Elliott.
