Louis "Lou" Albert Rennau, 74, of Hannibal, Mo passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Levering Regional Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel, Bro. Justin Mosher will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park. There will be no visitation. Louis was born June 7, 1939 in Hannibal, Mo the son of William Louis and Ruby May (Shrum) Rennau. Survivors include one daughter; special friends, Kathy Wendt Bown and husband Dick of Black Hawk, SD and Mike Sohn of Hannibal, MO; Hannibal High friends; loving friends and staff at Levering Regional Healthcare; and two nieces. Mr. Rennau was preceded in death by his parents. Louis was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church. He was a very talented athlete and musician. Lou graduated from Hannibal High School in 1957. He went on to play baseball for the Chicago White Sox minor league team. Lou played electric piano and vocals in the Roadrunners band and later formed Goldilocks and The Three Bears.
