Lori Sue Cumpston

Lori Sue Cumpston, age 51, of Bella Vista, AR passed away at 11:55 pm Monday, May 22, 2023, due to an automobile accident.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal, MO.

Lori was born on September 10, 1971, in Burlington, IA the daughter of James R. and Connie (Wedertz) Kern, Jr.

Lori was married to Kurt Cumpston.  He survives her and resides in Wisconsin.

Other survivors include her parents, three sons, Logan Cumpston of Burlington, IA, Kaden Cumpston of Burlington, IA and Ethan Cumpston (Lauren Dalton) of Fayetteville, AR; brother, Brett Kern (Kristy Freitag) of Cave Springs, AR and sister, Marcy Devore (Dean) of Delavan, WI.

Also surviving are three nieces and three nephews.

Lori graduated from Burlington High School in the class of 1989 and then attended Cosmetology School. As a cosmetologist, Lori won a state cosmetology award which she was very proud of. Later in life, she worked in sales.  In her younger years, Lori was involved in softball and gymnastics. She was a talented singer and liked to perform karaoke. Crafting was one of her favorite hobbies. Lori loved to be with her dogs, but her biggest love was for her three sons.  Family was her life.  Lori will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Lori was a Christian by faith.
