Linda Sue Majors, age 70, of Hannibal MO passed away with her loving family at her side on Friday, June 12, 2026.
A visitation celebrating Linda's life will be held 2:00 to 4:00 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM.
Cremation arrangements will follow the service.
Linda was born on July 10, 1955. The daughter of Robert Whitaker and Frances Lehenbauer. She was raised by her stepfather John Rosser.
She was united in marriage to Roger Majors in April of 1971.
Survivors include her husband Roger, Her children April Majors (Lloyd), Kari Majors (Brian), Jennifer White, Austin Majors (Elizabeth). Her brother Russel Rosser, Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
Linda was proceeded in death by her mother Frances Rosser, Father Robert Whitaker, Stepfather John Rosser, Mother-in-law Vina Majors, Father-in-law George Clayton Majors, Sister Terasa Tesson, Nephew Bradley Brown. Great niece Taylor Minks.
Linda was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 15 years. During those years she worked at Hannibal Clinic, Beth Haven, St Mary’s Hospital in Quincy IL and worked in private care.
Linda was a member of the Hannibal Church of Christ.
Linda spent her life loving her husband, children, grandchildren, and other family members. She enjoyed going to the beach. She enjoyed the mountains. Linda also enjoyed shopping at garage sales and the thrift stores. In addition, she collected pigs for home decor and she loved animals.
Linda spent some time living in Branson, Missouri, where she was able to enjoy her time shopping and attending live music events. She also took a train to Utah with her family to explore the area.
Linda’s ashes will be scattered at a couple of special places that Linda enjoyed.
