Linda Lee Hickman

Linda Lee Hickman, age 84, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 4:45 pm Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

A memorial service will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, July 20, 2026 at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Linda was born on August 23, 1941, in Hannibal, MO, the daughter of Joseph and Thelma (Stark) Chase

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Hickman; her son, James Robert Hickman; her brother Henry Shobe and her sister, Bonnie Sutton.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Edward (Margriter) Hickman Sr.; her son, Arthur Edward Hickman Jr.; and her brother Lloyd Shobe.

Linda found joy in life's simple blessings and in caring for those around her. She loved spending time shopping, especially at Bergner's, and was known for her wonderful homemade bread and rolls, which she enjoyed preparing for family and friends. A devoted student of the Bible, Linda spent countless hours studying Scripture and biblical prophecy, drawing strength and guidance from her faith. She was steadfast in her convictions and proudly supported President Donald Trump. Above all, Linda was a compassionate and caring woman who had a special gift for working with the elderly. Her patience, kindness, and gentle spirit brought comfort and dignity to those she cared for, leaving a lasting impression on everyone whose lives she touched.
