Lemuel (Bill) Mctheny, age 86, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 7:25 pm Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Sarah's Place in Hannibal.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2020, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal.
Lemuel was born on October 19, 1933, in Bolair, West Virginia the son of Cecil and Edith (Ramsey) Mctheny.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home, his children, grandchildren, a sister, nieces and nephews, and his loving dog Henry.
Bill proudly served his country for twenty years in the United States Air Force retiring as a flight engineer. He later worked for Kerr-McGee Gas Company as a truck driver.
Away from work, Bill enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping. But his biggest love was the time spent with his family and friends.
Mr. Mctheny attended the Warsaw Christian Church while living in Warsaw, MO.
