Krystal "Kristi" D. (Gower) Pierceall

Krystal "Kristi" D. Pierceall, age 57, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:22 am Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO with her loving family at her side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Friday, July 12, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Fr. Greg Meystrik will officiate. Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  The Mass of Christian Burial for Kristi will be live streamed at https://evt.live/kristi-pierceall-mass-of-christian-burial or viewed on Kristi's memorial page under her obituary.  The live stream will start at 10 am or shortly after.

Visitation celebrating Kristi's life will be held 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday July 11, 2024, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Kristi was born on June 3, 1967, in Hannibal, MO the daughter of Douglas and Gertude "Gertie" (Brown) Gower.

She was united in marriage to John "Jack" Pierceall on March 4, 1989, in Hannibal, MO.

Survivors include her husband, John "Jack" Pierceall of the home; mother, Gertie Brown Gower of Hannibal, MO; son, Caleb Pierceall and wife Katti of Hannibal, MO; daughter, Laken Pierceall and fiance' Dillon Linegar; two brothers, "James" Willie Schindler and wife Trina of New London, MO and Russell Schindler of Hannibal, MO; sister, Kathleen Herren and husband Mat of Fort Carson, CO; grandchildren, Solomon, Thrain, Hauns, Cayde and one grandson on the way; Kristi's special friends, Tammy Rouse, Debbie Coleman, Pauline "Grandma" Gibbs and the late Sylvia Ruhl; numerous nieces, nephews and numerous extended family and friends.

Kristi was preceded in death by her father and stepfather, James R. Schindler.

Kristi graduated from Bowling Green High School in the class of 1985.  She worked at General Mills for thirty-eight years and was currently working in the receiving department.

Kristi was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed life to the fullest.  Playing games at family game night (she may or may not of cheated occasionally), dancing the night away, throwing ringers in the horseshoe pit or throwing buckets in washers are all things Kristi enjoyed doing with her family and friends.  Hitting up garage sales, browsing antique shops and watching KC Chiefs games with her husband were also special times for Kristi.  Kristi's pride and joy was her family.  She cherished every moment she could with them especially with her grandchildren.

Kristi was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she was very active in the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.

Pallbearers will be Dillon Linegar, Pat Pierceall, Tim Pierceall, Steve Pierceall, Carl Schindler, T.C. Pierceall, Jacob Rodgers and Zakk Coleman.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council 907 Ladies Auxiliary, in care of the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
