Kevin J. Smith

Kevin J. Smith, age 57, of Lincoln, IL, formerly of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:45 am Saturday, July 17, 2021, at his home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 12:00 o'clock noon at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal, MO.  Burial will be in the Grand View Burial Park.

Visitation celebrating Kevin's life will be held 11:00 am until the time of service at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Kevin was born on March 14, 1964, in Highland, IL, the son of Carol Beel who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children, Destiny Smith of Hannibal, MO and Dakota Smith (Skylar) of Hannibal, MO; grandchildren,  Caspian and Valkyre Smith, brother; Bryan Hatfield (Brenda) of Lincoln, IL friend, Patsy Yanczer (Mike) of Hannibal, MO and his beloved dog, Kevi and cat, Orange.

Kevin was employed as an over the road truck driver and previously worked as a bartender and at Rags to Riches Pawn Shop in Hannibal.

Kevin enjoyed the simple things in life.  He loved driving around in his truck and riding his Harley.  He also enjoyed being outdoors camping, fishing and always looked forward to spending time with his children and grandchildren, which he was very proud of.   Kevin enjoyed singing karaoke and listening to music, especially Guns N Roses.

Kevin was a Christian by Faith.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Smith, Quintin Ainsworth, Michael Yanczer, Oney Otten, Dave Padgett, Bryan Hatfield and Tabatha Ainsworth.
