Kathryn Ruth (Kay) Sharp

Kathryn R. (Kay) Sharp, 91, formerly of Hannibal, died at 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa, KS. Kay was born to Lillian Jones Wise and John C. Wise on April 14, 1921, in West Frankfort, Illinois. She attended Franklin County Illinois schools, the University of Illinois, and Hannibal -LaGrange College. On September 20, 1947, she married John Sharp, in Benton, Illinois. The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last month.
