Judith Barbella

Judith  Barbella, age 78, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:25 pm Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Salt River Community Care in Shelbina, MO.

There are no services planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Judith was born on October 31, 1944, in New York, the daughter of Anthony and Pearl (Gigliotti) Castelhano.

She was united in marriage to Nicholas Barbella.  He preceded her in death.

Survivors included her daughter, April Boliver (Jay) of Hannibal, MO and grandson, Nicholas Bolivar.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her three brothers, Anthony Castelhano, Richard Castelhano and  Raymond Castelhano.

Judith graduated from high school and worked as a Teacher's Aide.  She spent much of her spare time reading, mostly about history. Judith liked watching game shows and westerns. Her family meant alot to her, but her relationship with her grandson Nicholas was most important to her.

Judith was a member of  Holy Family Catholic Church.
