Juanita Wilson, 83, of Hannibal, formerly of Richmond, Mo, died at 9:45 a. m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Hannibal Regional Hospital. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 2:00 p.m. in Woodland Cemetery at Richmond. Rev. John Johnson will officiate. No visitation is planned. Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements. Juanita Wilson was born in Kansas City, Mo, on March 20, 1930, a daughter of Walter and Thelma Lorena Roach Wilson. Survivors include a sister, Phyllis Fierke of Hannibal; a niece and nephews, including Jeff Fierke of Springfield, MO, Susan Kelly of Highlands Ranch, CO. , and John Fierke of Flower Mound, TX; and their children. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and two uncles, Dr. William L. Roach of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dr. H. M Roach of Islamorado, Florida. Juanita was a graduate of Richmond High School, where she was voted Class Sweetheart. She enjoyed the time she spent at the family owned Drinkmor Beverage Bottling Company in Richmond, where she worked at the bottling line. Juanita enjoyed spending time with family, playing canasta, listening to old records, writing in her journal, and loved all animals. Juanita was a member of First Christian Church in Hannibal.
