Joe Wesley (Jr.) Fogle

Joe Wesley Fogle, Jr. age 83, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 12:30 pm Saturday, November 25, 2023, at his son's home in Hannibal.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal.

There are no services planned at this time.

Joe was born on December 3, 1939, in Hannibal, MO the son of Joe Wesley and Pauline Marjorie (Burke) Fogle, Sr.

Mr. Fogle is survived by four children; a brother, Robert Fogle; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fogle was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie, Jimmy and Larry Fogle; sisters, Leona Mudd and Virginia Griffith; and his loving dog "Johnny".

Joe worked as a commercial fisherman.

Fishing was something Joe truly enjoyed.  Away from work, Joe enjoyed hunting, shooting guns, welding and watching football, especially the KC Chiefs.  Joe was a storyteller and was known for being a jokester and teaser.
