James Audrey Richardson, 87, of Hannibal, Mo. passed away at 6:09 a.m. Monday, September 1, 2014, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Graveside services with full military honors provided by the Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post No. 55 will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014, at the LaBelle Cemetery in LaBelle, Mo. Pastor Steve Goughnour will officiate.
Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel in Hannibal.
Audrey was born January 7, 1927 in Quincy, Ill the son of James Daniel and Reta (O'Dear) Richardson.
He married Ilene Murl Walker on February 16, 1947, in Lewistown, Mo. She preceded him in death on January 28, 2014.
Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Ketsenburg and husband Dick of Hannibal, Mo; two granddaughters, Stacy Kamrowski and husband Tony and Tracy Ketsenburg of Hannibal, Mo; three great grandchildren, Roman "Bo", Madison and Jonathan Kamrowski.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Jean Butcher.
Audrey was a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaBelle. Mr. Richardson worked as a mechanic, car salesman and selling auto parts. Audrey served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post No. 55 and Central States Archaeology Society. Audrey enjoyed fishing, Indian relics and watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball.
Pallbearers will be Steve Goughnour, Dale Donovan, Dick Ketsenburg, Tony Kamrowski, Stacy Kamrowski and Tracy Ketsenburg.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Northeast Missouri Humane Society, in care of Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
