Ilene Murl Richardson

Ilene M. Richardson, 87, of Hannibal, Mo. formerly of LaBelle, Mo. passed away at 11:51 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Willow Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at the LaBelle Cemetery in LaBelle, Mo, Pastor Steve Goughnour will officiate. Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home and Chapel in Hannibal. Ilene was born December 30, 1926 in Deer Ridge, Mo the daughter of Ernest and Veva (Dorsey) Walker. She married James Audrey Richardson on February 16, 1947 in Lewistown, Mo. He survives her. Other survivors include one daughter, Pamela Ketsenburg and husband Dick of Hannibal, Mo; two granddaughters, Stacy Kamrowski and husband Tony and Tracy Ketsenburg of Hannibal, Mo; three great grandchildren, Roman "Bo", Madison and Johnathan Kamrowski. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Delores Mauck. Ilene was a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaBelle, where she was active in the Mary Makers. She enjoyed flowers, sewing, playing cards, traveling, fishing, watching Cardinal Baseball and spending time with her family and friends. Pallbearers will be Steve Goughnour, Dale Donovan, Dick Ketsenburg, Tony Kamrowski, Stacy Kamrowski and Tracy Ketsenburg. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Northeast Missouri Humane Society, in care of Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
