Harry Pierce Musgrove, 85, of New London, Mo., passed away at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2014, at his home.
A Memorial Celebration will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014, at the New London First Christian Church. Pastor Tom Day will officiate.
Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church.
The family is being served by the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
Harry was born July 18, 1929 in Hannibal, Mo. the son of Harry and Beatrice (Pierce) Musgrove, Sr. He married Ruthe Wood on April 16, 1950 in Palmyra, Mo. She survives him.
Survivors include his wife, Ruthe Musgrove of the home; two children Becky Musgrove of Hannibal, Mo. and Jim Musgrove and wife sue of Avon Park, Fl; five grandchildren, Jeanie Epperson, Steve Lewton, Matt Lewton, Kimberly Musgrove and Aaron Musgrove; and thirteen great grandchildren.
Mr. Musgrove was preceded in death by his parents and one infant son, Steven Charles Musgrove.
Harry owned and operated the family business Musgrove Drug Store in Hannibal. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Musgrove was a member of the St. John's Masonic Lodge #28 AF&AM in Hannibal. Harry also was a member of the New London First Christian Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New London First Christian Church, in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
