Harold David Fogle, age 64, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at 1:04 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pastor Lindell Shumake will officiate.
Visitation celebrating Harold’s life will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
Harold was born on August 9, 1961, in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of Harold Glen and Emma Alice (Dodd) Fogle.
He was united in marriage to Betty Potterfield. She preceded him in death on January 16, 2026.
Survivors include his children, John Wesley Fogle (Tye) of Kirksville, Missouri, Nicholas Fogle of Hannibal, Missouri, and Angela Fogle of Hannibal, Missouri; his siblings, Rose Fogle of Hannibal, Missouri, Elsie Fogle of Carrollton, Missouri, Theresa Hirner (Mike) of Hannibal, Missouri, Sylvia Freeman of Branson, Missouri, George Fogle of Hannibal, Missouri, and John Fogle of Hannibal, Missouri; his grandchildren, Cody Gilbert, Jaylee Gilbert, Avery Fogle, Rylynn Ellis, Kadience Workman, Terrance Phelps, and Ryder Waters; and one great-grandson, Brooks Adam Elliott.
In addition to his parents and wife, Harold was preceded in death by a son, Adam Fogle; a grandson, Parker Ellis; and brothers, Ralph Fogle, Sr., and James Fogle.
Harold worked as an area contractor. Away from work, he enjoyed the simple things in life, including fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were among his greatest treasures.
Harold was a Christian by faith.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hirner, Lester Hirner, Elisha Davis, Gene Brown, Kenny Lain, Nick Fogle, and Andy Freeman.
