Gwyneth L. Roeger

Gwyneth Lillian (Jones) Roeger, 88, of Hannibal, MO entered the fuller life at 4:15 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

A Requiem Eucharist will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2018, at St. James Episcopal Church, 403 South Union Street, Griggsville, IL.  The Reverend Christopher L. Ashmore will officiate.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel, in Hannibal, MO.

Gwyneth was born on February 20, 1930, the daughter of William R. and Thelma D. Jones.

She was united in marriage to The Reverend William D. Roeger on May 17, 1952, in Collingswood, NJ.  He survives her.

Other survivors include four children and their spouses, six grandchildren and their spouses, and four great grandchildren.

Gwyneth graduated in fine arts from Moore Institute of Art & Science Philadelphia.  She was an Artist, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

Gwyneth enjoyed traveling, friends & family, arts and crafts, writing poetry and stories, and her animals.

She was a devoted disciple of our Lord and a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church.
