Gary Lee Muehring

Gary Lee Muehring, age 77, of Hannibal, MO passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at his home.

Per Gary's wishes, there will be no services.

Gary was born on November 7, 1948, in El Hambre, CA the son of Charles and Mildred (Paynter) Muehring.

He was united in marriage to Donna Muehring on May 24, 1991 in Hannibal, MO. Donna survives him in death.

Survivors include his wife, his son, Christian Muehring (Christy); his daughters, Kim Rueter (Zach), Sarah Goff, and Mackenzie Muehring (Chelsea); his grandchildren, Mercedes, Bridget, Brittni, Christian, Emilee, Laney, Treyton, and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Heaven, Luna, Jesse, Amelia, Annalee, Ariel, Ashton, and Ace, and his special friends, Linda Godman and Chad Ewing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gary enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle through the countryside. He had a love for westerns and often spent time reading Louis L’Amour novels. Above all, Gary cherished the moments he shared with his children and grandchildren, who meant the world to him.
