Frances Camille Phelps Boullear was born August 6, 1917, in Troy, Missouri, to Walter Everett & Maude Dowell Phelps. She died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at the age of 95 years in Ottawa, Kansas. Her sweet demeanor, lighthearted sense of humor and sincere service to others will be remembered by all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012, at Park United Methodist Church. Rev. Rebecca Dunger Peak will officiate. Burial will be in Grand View Burial Park. Smith Funeral Home & Chapel is in charge of arrangements. She married John Rowan Boullear on April 23, 1938. To this union, 3 children were born. Survivors include a son, John E. Boullear, Mission, KS; daughter-in-law: Barbara Boullear, Goodyear, AZ; son-in-law: Steve McClure, Westwood, KS. six grandchildren: Dirk McClure & wife, Debbie, Olathe, KS; Lori Zimmerman, Dublin, Ohio; Kyle McClure & wife, Marina, Olathe, KS; Marilee Boullear and husband Marco, Lenexa, KS; Brad Boullear, Lenexa, KS; Emily Boullear, New Orleans, Louisiana; seven great- grandchildren: Jaxsen Zimmerman, Lynnaya McClure, Lauren Zimmerman, Logan DeAngelis, Kaleah McClure, Sarayah McClure, Luke DeAngelis ; sister-in-law, Glenna Boullear, Hannibal, Mo; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, John R. Boullear; son, Donald Boullear; daughter, Carolyn Boullear McClure; sister, Mildred Phelps Creech; and brother, Homer Everett Phelps. Frances graduated from Buchanan High School in Troy, MO, in 1936, and taught in a one room school house before marrying John. She was a dedicated member of Lighthouse Chapter #194, Order of Eastern Star from 1964-2006, and also a long time member of Park United Methodist Church in Hannibal, Missouri.
