Eric Michael Gray

Eric Michael Gray, age 31, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 10:30 am Saturday, February 18, 2023, at his home.

Visitation celebrating Eric's life will be held at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday February 24, 2023 at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel. A memorial service will follow the service at 7:00 PM.  Pastor Chris Combs will officiate.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Eric was born on April 7, 1991, in Quincy, Illinois the son of Harry "Gene" and Barbara (Collins) Gray.

Survivors include a son, Mason Eugene Wayne Gray of Hannibal,MO; two sisters, Brittany Gray (Brad Belak) of Hannibal, MO and Amber Gray (Dante Price) of Hannibal, MO, two brothers, Travis Gray of Troy, MO and Dustin Gray (Jennifer) of Palmyra, MO. Also surviving are two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Katelyn Deney.

Professionally Eric worked as a general laborer. RC cars, street racing, go carts and anything with a motor and wheels brought excitement to Eric. He enjoyed watching cartoons, playing video games and listening to music.  He enjoyed going out to eat Chinese with his family and friends.  His biggest love was spending time with family and friends and especially his son.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Chase Bauman, Casey Lubke, Larry Whitaker, Brad Belak, Dante Price and Devin Kaden.

Memorial contributions may be made to Smith Funeral Home & Chapel to assist the family with expenses.
