Doris Jane White, 72, of Hannibal, Mo. passed away at 2:01 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel in Hannibal. Captain Elmer Trapp will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Louisiana, Mo.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
Doris was born August 26, 1941 in Louisiana, Mo. the daughter of Hardy and Irene (Caldwell) Wilson.
She married Raymond White on August 4, 1970 in New London, Mo. He preceded her in death on January 15, 1996.
Survivors include one son, Nick J. Stillman of Farmington, Mo; one daughter, Doris Jane Bowler (Brian Brooks) of Hannibal, Mo; five grandchildren Teneka Cheadle (Jason), Sarah Bell, Kayla Cheadle (Daniel), Testa McCune (David) all of Hannibal, Mo. and Gabriel Stillman of St. Louis, Mo; thirteen great grandchildren ; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Hardy Wilson, Jr.
Doris was a member of the Salvation Army Church and the Home League Club. Doris enjoyed Bingo, fishing, playing cards, watching TV, Christian Music, holidays and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Cheadle, Dalton Cheadle, Blain Potter, David Hubbard, Brian Brooks and Warren Crim, II.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Anthony McCune, Warren Crim, III, Nick Stillman, Daniel Cheadle and Gabriel Stillman.
