Donna J Yarbrough, age 88, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 3:34 am Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
The family will be hosting a memorial service on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, the address is 770 Head Lane, Hannibal, MO. Andy Lear will be officiating.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
Donna was born on January 21, 1937, in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of Durward and Irene (McEuen) Trigg.
Donna was united in marriage to Robert Yarbrough in 1955 and later was married to Dave McDade in 1971. They both preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son Chris Yarbrough (Marty), Debbie Mastin (Greg), Robin Smith (Dennis), her grandchildren Brock Mastin (Shelby), Clint Mastin (Letty), Haven Yarbrough, Heath Yarbrough, Sky Yarbrough, Tabitha Harrison (Dustin), Raven Harrison (Kirsten), and Ashton Smith (CJ); her great grandchildren Kelby, Brooklyn, Grace, Baylee, Averee, Zane, Sevie, Aliyah, Keelyn and Nellie ; her great-great grandchildren, Everly, Lilli, Roseily, Kemper, and Goldie and her special nieces and nephews DeeDee, Faron, and Tracy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, brother Joseph Trigg, her great grandson Brenden and her nephew JW.
Donna will be remembered as a woman of strong faith, devotion, and love for her family. Throughout her life, she found enjoyment in many activities, including drawing, roller skating, going for walks, and riding motorcycles. She also took pleasure in listening to Elvis, watching Dr. Phil, and sharing meaningful time with her family.
Family was of great importance to Donna, and she especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Her presence, guidance, and love left a lasting impression on those closest to her.
Donna was deeply committed to her faith and ministry. As a full-time minister, she had a profound love for the Bible and took great care in sharing her beliefs with others. She was known for speaking openly about God’s personal name, Jehovah, a truth she held with sincerity and conviction.
One of Donna’s lifelong dreams was to ride an elephant, reflecting her enduring sense of curiosity and appreciation for life’s unique experiences.
Donna’s life was marked by faithfulness, dedication, and love. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
