Donna Sue Muehring, age 67, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Beth Haven Nursing Home.

There are no services planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home & Chapel of Hannibal.

Donna was born on February 3, 1959, in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of James T. and Shirley Marie (Snider) McLeod.

She was united in marriage to Gary Lee Muehring on May 24, 1991, in Hannibal, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2026.

Survivors include her children, Mackenzie Muehring (Chelsea), Christian Muehring (Christy), Kim Rueter (Zach), and Sarah Goff; her siblings, James McLeod (Karen Painter), Vicki Biere (Albert), Sandy McElwee (Karl), and Mary Creech (Kevin); her grandchildren, Mercedes, Bridget, Brittni, Christian, Emilee, Laney, Treyton, and Ryan; her great-grandchildren, Heaven, Luna, Jesse, Amelia, Annalee, Ariel, Ashton, Ace, Chloe, Carter, Sandra, Kayden, and Lakely; her special friends, Linda Godman and Chad Ewing; and several special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by two nephews, James McLeod and Justin Skinner.

Donna worked as a CNA for several years at area retirement homes before retiring.

In her younger years, she was a member of the Saddle Club in Palmyra and enjoyed being around horses. Later in life, she enjoyed watching MASH and The Andy Griffith Show. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
