Dominic "Mike" A. De Angelis, 67, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 5:41 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017, at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2017, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
Dominic was born on June 6, 1950, in Wichita, KS the son of Paul and Opal (Watson) Harbison.
Survivors include his wife Robin Lee of Hannibal, MO; two step sons, Peter Renfroe and Gregory Renfroe (Lona) of Mishawaka, IN; one sister, Donna Fast (Ken) of Grandview, MO; one sister-in-law, Lori Reiter (Kent) of Mishawaka, IN; eight step grandchildren; and two nephews.
Mr. De Angelis was preceded in death by his parents.
Dominic had worked as a truck driver for most of his career until his health forced him to retire. Mike was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed riding his trike with Robin and his friends. Along with motorcycles, Dominic also enjoyed the beauty of classic cars. Mr. De Angelis also took great pleasure in cooking and reading political articles.
Dominic was a member of the Quincy Trike Rider and Patriot Guard. Mike cherished the time spent with his family and friends. Mr. De Angelis was a Christian by faith.
