David Lee Hall

David Lee Hall, age 54, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 6:11 pm Thursday, May 25, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.  Kenny Owens will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation celebrating David's life will be held 10:00 am until the time of the service Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

David was born on July 19, 1968, in Hannibal, MO the son of Dennis and Phyllis (Campbell) Hall.

He was united in marriage to Carrie King on March 16, 2007, in Hannibal, MO.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie Hall of the home; two daughters, Bailee Hall and Katelyn Best (Caleb); six sons, Hunter Eversmeyer (Angel Sharp) Blake Eversmeyer (Anastasia Tihanovich), David Kieffer (Kasey Dosing), Patrick Kieffer, Phillip Edberg and Preston Orr; brother, James Hall (Toni): four sisters, Tammy Roger (Wayne), Jodi Fogle (Jeff), Jenny Hall (Ivan Yarbrough) and Diane McAlister; seven grandchildren, Tyler Best, Carson Best, Oliver Best, Tommy Ivey, Jackson Kieffer, Charlie Kieffer and Easton Kieffer and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hall was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Hall, grandmother, Elizabeth Campbell, grandson, Evan Best and niece, Amber Hall.

David worked as a laborer in the construction field until his death.

David enjoyed fishing, woodworking, making bird houses and could often be seen several times a week working in his yard.  David enjoyed mowing and keeping his yard in immaculate shape.  Family was David's biggest love and his daughter was his pride and joy.

David attended The Lord's House.

Pallbearers will be James Hall, James Hall Jr., Mason King, Joe Elzea, Gabriel Hall and Jake Rogers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Tallman, Braxton Moore, Harley Moore. Jenson Hall and McKinley Boatright.

Memorial contributions may be made to Smith Funeral Home & Chapel, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
