Charles "Tony" Anthony McCune, 58, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 8:18 PM Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Hannibal Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 13, 2014, at the Tabernacle of Praise Church in Hannibal. Pastor Michael Neff will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday at the church. The Smith Funeral Home and Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Charles was born June 4, 1956, in Quincy, IL, the son of Loren and Elizabeth (Wagner) McCune. Survivors include one son, Charles McCune (Mindy) of Centralia, IL; three daughters, Kayla Cheadle (Daniel), Teneka Cheadle (Jason), and Testa McCune (David Hubbard) all of Hannibal, MO; three brothers, Louie McCune (Connie) of Monroe City, MO, Greg McCune (Donna) of Kingdom City, MO, and Robert McCune (Cathy) of Quincy, IL; one sister, Patricia McCune of Monroe City, MO; twelve grandchildren, Tracy, Renee, Daneva, Dalton, Haley, Lacy, Kayden, Dylan, Desiree, Anthony, Kylee and Macayla; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. McCune was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Roger McCune. Tony enjoyed woodworking, trains and watching the St. Louis Cardinal's. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren. Mr. McCune was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Pallbearers will be Dan Cheadle, Jason Cheadle, Dalton Cheadle, David Hubbard, Warren Crim, II, and Brian Brooks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dylan McCune, Anthony McCune, Warren Crim, III and Charles McCune. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.
