Brian Wayne Fessenden

Brian Wayne Fessenden, age 39, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 1:25 pm Friday, March 31, 2023, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.  Pastor Randy Drish will officiate.  Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery in rural Center.

Visitation celebrating Brian's life will be held 9:00 am until time of service Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.

Brian was born on August 25, 1983, in Hannibal, MO,  the son of  Terry and Kathy (Lent) Fessenden.

Survivors include his parents of Hannibal, MO; son, Zachary Fessenden of Bowling Green, MO; brothers, Tim Fessenden (Whitney) of Palmyra, MO and Terry Fessenden, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Hannibal, MO; nieces and nephews, MaKayla, Madison, Bradyn, Colton and Gavin Fessenden and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Francis Fessenden and Sharon Lent.

Brian worked as a laborer for Drebes Construction.  Brian loved being outdoors whether it was for fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting or playing basketball.  Brian was like a big kid when it came to playing in the creek with his son, nieces and nephews.  Time with his family and friends meant the world to Brian.

Brian was a member of  The Crossing Church of Hannibal, MO.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Fessenden, Randy "Butch" Brown, Gary Fessenden, Junior Phelps, Garry Ranabarger, John Lash and Josh Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Nathen Brown, Ryan Brown and Josh Harvey.

Memorial contributions may be made to Smith Funeral Home & Chapel to assist the family with expenses, in care of Smith Funeral Home & Chapel.
