Brenda Marie (Taylor) Brown

Brenda Marie (Taylor) Brown, age 69, of Hannibal, MO passed away at 3:26 am Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 4, 2025, at New Life Pentecostal Church. Pastor Mike Niffen will officiate.

Brenda was born on August 24, 1955, in Baker, Oregon the daughter of Gary and Beverly (Hogue) Hickerson.

She was united in marriage to Raymond Taylor, Sr. on September 29, 1986, in Taylor, MO. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2006.

Survivors include her daughter, RaeLin Gillam (Adam) of Hannibal, MO, son, Raymond Taylor, Jr. (Jamie) of South Haven, MI, and sister Theresa Taylor. Also surviving are her precious grandchildren, Arwyn Gillam, Aryana Gillam, Zoe Hull, Destiny Hull and Victoria Hull.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raymond Taylor, Sr. and sisters Tina and Juanita.

Brenda took pride in being a homemaker.

Brenda was a member of New Life Pentecostal Church.

Brenda, a beloved soul, passed away leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories.  She found great joy in shopping and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.  In Brenda's younger years, she was an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying fishing and hunting. She also had a passion for baking and cooking, with a particular fondness for chocolate and Barq's Root Beer.  Brenda loved visiting the northwest coast, where she found peace and happiness.  Her warmth and love will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
