Blanche Biggers

Blanche Biggers, 101, of Omaha, NE formerly of Hannibal passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at Brookestone Village in Omaha, NE. Graveside services and burial will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017, at Lick Creek Cemetery in rural Perry, MO. Pastor Bob Seaman will officiate. Visitation will be held 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017, at the Smith Funeral Home & Chapel, in Hannibal. Blanche was born on January 12, 1916, in Lewistown, MO the daughter of Earle I. and Tempa A. (Chapman) Bagby. She was united in marriage to Jack H. Biggers on September 19, 1942, in Hannibal, Mo. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1991. Survivors include one daughter, Ella Sue Dieter (Paul); two granddaughters, Catherine Hearty (Mike), and Rachel Schweikert (Michael) all of Omaha, NE; and four great grandsons. Mrs. Biggers was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Blanche was a member of Park United Methodist Church in Hannibal. She enjoyed volunteering at Hannibal Regional Hospital.
